Hello there! I’m Dawson Ren, a 2nd year PhD student in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences at Northwestern University.
My research interests are primarily in predictive analytics in machine learning. My current work focuses on developing methods for interpretable ML. I’m also a fellow for the Predictive Sciences and Engineering Design (PSED) cluster, where I’m training predictive models to learn the structure-property relationships in thermoelectric materials.
In my free time, I enjoy running, practicing the guitar, and playing board games.
